Centre for the Study of Adolescence (CSA)

CSA is an independent non-partisan, non-profit organization established in 1988 working in the field of adolescent sexual and reproductive health including HIV/AIDS. CSA’s mandate is to advocate and implement policies and programs that enable young people to exercise choice,access to services and participate fully in activities that promote their health and well-being. CSA continues to play an instrumental role in the development as well as review of national and county level adolescent and youth health policies. The Centre supports the domestication of national level policies and implementation frameworks to county context.


The goal of the Centre is to promote adolescent health andrelated issues in Kenya through research, capacity building and advocacy. 

Our main objective is to expand choices and improve accessto safe, affordable and sustainable services in partnership with keystakeholders
