Peter Ngure

Y-ACT Deputy Project Director

Peter is a jack of all trades. He is a youth leader and the Deputy Project Director of Y-ACT. He holds a Masters of Arts degree in Sociology and Community Development and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social work. He is passionate about an improved health governance environment; especially at the grassroots; aspiring to see young people take up leadership and hold the government accountable in matters SRH.

He was a 2017 winner of the Bill and Melinda gates foundation ‘120 most influential persons under 40 years; the next generation of Family planning leaders 2017’ and has extensive experience in reproductive health policy analysis and advocacy work.

He is also a Trainer of Trainers on health Budget analysis and policy engagement at national and county levels. He has engaged the Kenyan National Assembly and the East African Legislative assembly on Reproductive health bills.
